How do we approach the final chapter in our lives and support our loved ones in doing so?
Come join us for this meaningful session as hospice care experts offer insights on preparing ourselves as well as accompanying our loved ones through life’s final chapter, to move beyond grief, and to live with faith, hope and purpose:
Accepting death as a way to enter into eternal life
Supporting a loved one meaningfully in their final days
Spiritual and emotional care in coping with bereavement and loss
How caregivers can both offer support and be supported themselves
Ways to accompany families navigating grief and loss
St Mary’s presents Hope that Endures - a collaboration with Assisi Hospice and our ministries involved in caring for bereaved families.

Discover the Saints - Be Inspired to Holiness
This All Saints weekend, we honour all who share in the glory of heaven and are reminded of our own call to holiness.
Our Parish Youth & Young Adults Office, together with the Faith & Evangelisation Office, invite you to explore the All Saints booth at the Piazza after Mass on the evening of 31 Oct, and on 1 and 2 Nov.
Come, be inspired — and perhaps a saint will speak to your heart today.

Confirmation Mass 2025
Our youths and young adults will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation from His Eminence William Cardinal Goh on Saturday 18 Oct at the 6pm mass. Please continue to pray for them as they take this important step in their faith journey. May their hearts be enkindled with the fire of the Holy Spirit!
As invited family and godparents will be present, there will be limited seats available in church. You may wish to consider attending Mass at our other timings during the weekend as congestion is expected at the 6pm mass. Do note that the 7.45pm Tamil Mass will be moved from the Main Church to St Clare Hall.
Care for Creation - Blessing of Pets
Let us give thanks to God for our furry, feathered (and slimy) creature-friends that bring us so much joy and companionship! In the spirit of St Francis, whose feast we celebrate on 4 October, St Mary’s will be holding our annual animal blessing.
Date: Sunday 5 October 2025
Time: 3pm - 4pm (Registration starts at 2.30pm)
Venue: Piazza (In case of wet weather, we will retreat to the sheltered areas of the piazza)
Bring your dog, cat, bird, frog, rabbit, or other beloved and treasured animal-friends for a prayer and blessing session by our Franciscan Friars! All are welcome!

Blessing of Monstrance on Corpus Christi
Join us on Saturday 21st June at the 6pm Corpus Christi sunset Mass, where a new monstrance—commissioned for the Jubilee Year of Hope and the 8th Centenary of St Francis’ Canticle of the Creatures—will be unveiled and blessed. This is followed by benediction and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Our Pastoral care ministers will also be commissioned at this Mass.

Capturing Hope through the Lens of Faith: Jubilee of Hope Photography Exhibition
As part of St Mary’s Jubilee Year celebrations, the Luminaire Photography Ministry organised a talk and a series of photography workshops over the past months, followed by the main photography challenge in April calling for parishioners to submit photos capturing moments that they feel reflect hope and faith.
The results are out! We will be having an exhibition showcasing the winning entries as well as some other notable submissions on these dates at St Clare Hall:

Jubilee 2025: Celebrating Hope that Enables

Then, this evening is for YOU! Come hear the personal stories of 2 courageous individuals who struggled with crippling anxiety, grief and immense loss. Gain critical insights and tips from our panel of mental health, clinical and respite care experts specialising in disabilities including knowing when to seek professional help. What's more, learn what resources are available to you if help is needed.
Hope that Enables presents a collaboration with 6 organisations specialising in Mental Health, Special Needs and Disabilities. It's an invitation to come together as a caring and supportive community; to better understand the diverse needs and challenges of those with disabilities.
