Season of Creation 2025

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’, the groundbreaking encyclical by the late Pope Francis on caring for our common home.

From 1 Sept (World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) to 4 Oct (Feast of St Francis of Assisi), the Catholic Church joins the wider Christian community in celebrating the Season of Creation.

Caritas remains deeply committed to championing this call and leading efforts to promote sustainability. 💚

As Pope Francis reminded us: “Living our vocation to be protectors of God’s handiwork is essential to a life of virtue.” (Laudato Si’, 217)
