Wardens
Wardens
The wardens welcome parishioners to church and usher them to their seats. During weekend masses, they help with the collection of money and the orderly movement of the congregation. Traffic wardens direct the orderly parking of vehicles.
The wardens’ job is particularly important at feast days because of the large turnout at Masses or services. By coordinating the movement of people and vehicles in and around the church, they keep distractions to a minimum.
