Receiving God's Gift

Greetings, all of my friends…!!!

Before start, let us thank God for His blessing that He is always with us wherever we are, and also to the Holy Spirit and Mother Mary who also help us in doing our daily activities everyday. Without Them, we are nothing but ash.

Last week’s session is about Receiving God’s Gift. When I read this topic, I instantly thinking about myself, did I have the gift from God ? Did I ever use the gift that He is giving me ? At that time I really think about it seriously, because I want to know more about it. I know that some people finding that God’s gift is very real in their life, other people can see or even feel it also and the people that have the gift is usually a good, great people. They can really use the gift to do and show what they can. I realize that every people will have their own and unique gift from God, so from that time I started to find out what is the true gift that God has given me in this life.

During the session, I also know that God’s gift is free, and its up to us whether we want to take it or not, God will not force us. If we want to take it, that’s ok, if we didn’t want to take it, also ok. Every people will have their own gift and its also up to them how to use it. From this point, I now understand that the true gift that God has given us is the charisma / talent, a talent that can make people have their own ability to be good in doing something or not. Its not just about it, its also how well that people can follow the live of disciples, live for serving God. How well we can have a personal relationship with God, Holy Spirit and Mother Mary.

Furthermore, I realize that I myself have my own gift from God, that I can easily adapt to a new environment / community / friends. I just want to know them more because they are the same like me, we are God’s children that have the same duty to spread the good news to all other people. I also know that I’m just an good person, I eager to help others and treated others well. I am very thankful to God that He give me this gift, with this gift I now can have many friends in school, church community, and of course in my own country Indonesia. I also want to thanked Him for giving me such a good girlfriend that can understand, patience, caring and loving me so much. She make my life even more fun and enjoyable. With all things that ever happen in my life, bad or good, what I can say is, this gift from God has made my life colorful.

Since joining the YISS, I have learned some new and positive things. I can now become more closer to God, understand His words better, worship and glorify Him in peace. I also have new friends that are very great, can teach and bring us to God. I enjoy it very much, friends are nice and light hearted, I can learn and get many new experiences from them, and we can have fun in the name of God together. Once again, I want to thank God that He has given me a call to join this YISS, where I can learn more about His words and get myself closer to His side.
