Praise and Worship Night

I must admit, i was waiting for this night because i'm type of person who is easily affected by music, i love to listen to good music although i cannot sing. I arrived at 7:30 and my first impression is nice.. they open the partition to classroom 1, but when i went inside only service team practicing, i was kinda dissappointed, because i thought we're going to go all out, lots of ppl coming, something like hillsong concert :p

After the first song, i was reminded that This is Your house Lord. When i see a lot of empty seats, when we praise together as community, it's not only us in that room that day that praise the Lord, i can feel all of the emmausian have the desire to praise the Lord, even if they are not in that room, they always want to praise the Lord and praise the Lord with us together in that room. And it's not just them but all the angels in heaven wants to praise You, because this is Your house.

At that point of time, i felt so warm in my heart that i want to say thank you Lord, of this Heaven on the inside of me, i started to sing more "freely", usually i like to sit in corner because i always sing out of tune, i don't want to distract the pw, and because i can't sing loudly, i like to "compensate" with my hand movement which make it more distracting :p (sorry henry that sits besides me that night, luckily philip sit at the other side of me that cover my singing with his beautiful voice)

I started to say i want to see You Lord, That's what we came here for, we want to praise You, worship You, see You face to face. When we praise you with outstretch hands, we're Touching heaven changing earth. Because i like fast beat songs, i enjoy the music so much that i want All of my days to praise you forever.

Then in a prayer Jebie said open our heart. This is what i try to accomplish in the past few weeks, most of the time i used to harden my heart, because it's much more convinient. When i have a heart of stone, nobody can hurt me. When i try to open my heart, my heart become flesh, and it hurts. But i don't want to give up, so i try again. i just stand Still in the presence of Him. Hoping He will hide me under His wings.

When i just stand in His presence, there's an urge from inside of me to just come to Him. I understand that He is always with me, but it's hard for me to say that You are near, because i never open my hearts completely for Him to enter. This is my struggle and maybe my cross, but i hope i will never give up to try.

From all that is happening on that night, part that is most tell about His glory is when testimony part. I can't say about the testimony, but i can say that is really Testify to love. Listening to people who testify really shows that God is really working and touch our life, and we can be faithful to Him whatever obstacle and trial we are facing. Thank you so much for sharing... As a community i hope we can walk together throught the trials that we are facing to keep remind us to be faithful to Him, through prayer, fellowship, bbq, just sms to say hi, etc.
