Fr. Cantalamessa Personal Testimony

Dearest all,

Some of us attended SACCRE leaders seminar given by Fr. Cantalamessa last thursday. It was really nice, I particularly like his testimony. I found an article in the internet that contains a similar testimony by him which seems to be written for Word Among Us. I attached the testimony on this post. I didn't take note, so I can't really recall much. But what I can recall, I will try to share. Maybe at the moment, the testimony will do.

disclaimer: the article's testimony has the same major points as Fr. Cantalamessa said during the seminar. Of course, some details might be different, and certain emphasis might be different as well.

This testimony is very very very inspiring

Thank you for sharing this testimony!

I have never met him before, and I really regret that I missed the chance.

However reading this testimony has resonated my heart.

The message is very clear and simple for me : "Choose Jesus as the Lord of your life."

I really thank God for having such a great preacher like him.

hmmmm

This testimony is very similar to the talk scheduled for next week!! or rather this testimony is going to be in the talk scheduled for next week hahaa.

I would really love to attend a talk from Fr Cantalamessa. Maybe SACCRE could invite him during Pentatcost to give a talk in a Charismatic renewal rally. Something that they used to do in the indoor stadium.

Less harm to the Church

His joke about him being appointed as Papal Preacher the moment he decided to leave his profesorship and go to preach maybe because this is where he is doing less harm to the Church is funny...

He also joked about him meeting a husband that struggles to have his child being baptised because his wife opposed it. Then the husband finally got a solution after reading the story that Abraham brought Isaac to the mountain to be offered without telling his wife.

Ben, do you mean you are going to use his testimony during your talk?

hmmmm part 2

well considering that the theme of repentence and taking from the same Biblical verse. I would believe the summary according to Valent about Fr Cantalamessa would be quoted. Should I feel happy I can have more material for the talk or sad that it would be difficult to add more substance to Fr Canatalamessa's talk.... =S

Hi Ben,I suppose you should

Hi Ben,

I suppose you should be happy that the Holy Spirit is working through you :) well, you can somehow get the same idea as the papal preacher! imagine! hehehe :P

Well, please continue to consult the Holy Spirit :)

hmmmm part 3

Maya,

I am secretly very excited by the prospect of working with the Holy Spirit closely with this one. As Philip once said "the more screwed up you feel, the more you are willing to surrender, the more the Holy Spirit can take over." What a wonderous, no AWESOME way to start the Lent season this year! A chance to allow God to fill my life and participate in this ministry of sowing seeds! Thank God for the chance to serve hehehe. But shhhh don't tell everyone this secret or everyone would want to serve!!! XD
