The proof of love is in the works.

Great Songs by great author
Hi all,
I would like to share with you a contemporary christian musician named Karl Kohlhase. He is so generous by sharing his songs freely in his website http://www.k4communications.com/
I have been listening for his song for quite some time and this is my favorite song, titled Last Words.
The song was written based on the bible verse of the 7 last words of Jesus, when He was on the Cross. Everytime I listen to this song, I was so touched. I also put the lyric below, please listen and read the lyric. I highly recommend to listen this song in your room alone and then you can make this song as part of your daily prayer.
The song can be dowloaded from http://www.k4communications.com/karl/downloads/lastwords.mp3 or listened here
Last Words
“Father, forgive
them, they know not what they do”
I hear You pray for those who torture You
These are the words that tear my grudges all apart
Create in me a tender heart
You turn Your head to
address a dying thief
“Today you’ll be in Paradise with Me”
These are the words where every hopeless soul must start
Create in me a trusting heart
You darkest hour, You
cried out from the tree
“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
These words of anguish pierce me through just like a dart
Create in me thankful heart
Then unto Mary, “Woman,
behold your son”
“Behold your Mother”, your dying words to John
These words begin a family of which I’m part
Create in me a holy heart
You said, “I thirst”
yet it was not for wine
You thirst for love from desert souls like mine
And with these words a flowing river You impart
Create in me a loving heart
Then “It is finished”.
Your work on earth was done
For in three days Your battle would be won
These are the words with which You crown Your works of art
Create in me a perfect heart
“Into Your hands,
Father, I commit My breath.”
Your final prayer as You closed Your eyes in death
And with these words one day I’ll fly to where You
are
Create in me
Create in me
Create in me a faithful heart

This simple song I feel is made by a deep reflection of the author. I love the 5th paragraph,
You said, “I thirst”
yet it was not for wine
You thirst for love from desert souls like mine
And with these words a flowing river You impart
Create in me a loving heart
I like to listen to this song as I open my prayer. I hope this song is able to touch you as it touched mine.I really prayed that I will be able to be a drop of dry and desert soul which is allowed to play a little role that could quench a tiny part of Jesus's thirst. I know I wont be enough, but I want to be faithful in doing my part by allowing God's Word to change my heart.

"Why are they free? My goal is to spread the Word of Christ in song, and to reach as many as I can, as deeply as I can, for as long as I can. By offering free downloads, I am able to reach thousands of people around the world who simply can't afford to buy Christian music.
You may burn as many copies of the CDs as you like for family and friends. I only ask that you give them away free of charge. Freely you have received, so freely give..." (Karl Kohlhase)
