Need help to create poster for upcoming series: Christian Living 2009

Hi all,

Our current teaching series on Spiritual Growth is going to end soon this coming Saturday and after that we will continue with new teaching series. Hence we need a volunteer here to design the poster to be put in St Mary of the Angels.

The next teaching series is on Christian Living based on scripture from Matthew 6:19 to 7:27. The schedule is as follows:

  • 12 Sept 2009 - Matthew 6:19-24
  • 19 Sept 2009 - Matthew 6:25-34
  • 26 Sept 2009 - Matthew 7:1-5
  • 3 Oct 2009 - Matthew 7:7-11
  • 10 Oct 2009 - Matthew 7:12-20
  • 17 Oct 2009 - Matthew 7:21-27

If you would like to volunteer to create the poster, please let me know, ok? I will upload the posters of the previous teaching series that we have made so far really soon so that you can have an idea of how to create the poster too.

The poster will be in A4 size and we can start with the rough design of the poster first.

So please, please let me know if you want to help or practice your photoshop/design skills by creating this poster. No need to be perfect cos all of us are still learning too.

Hey Abby! Thanks for volunteering to design the poster for this series. Yup, you can do that. But please help to reduce the file size first before uploading =P by making the file in JPEG format and reducing the dimension. 

I think you can design in A3 size. The printing cost in NTU for A3 is quite cheap, haha. But a question is bothering me. If now you design in A3 size and later we decide to print in A4 size, would that affect the quality of the poster printed?

I'll upload a preview... you're all free to make suggestions

Oh I don't think the size change would be too much of a problem. I can simply design for A4 and if you want to print a A3 size I doubt the quality would degrade - I'll just provide a high resolution image for it.

Or I could just create 2 different resolutions or something. No biggie. :D

Thank you Abby! Sure, you can create a new group message from the link Create group message / file on right hand side below the "Media and communication ministry" section. From there you can attach the preview file and every one in the media ministry will be notified of the new message.
