Let us contemplate the Father
and Creator of the whole world,
and with our mind's eye reflect upon
the peaceful and restrained unfolding of his plan.

Impressive book written by an awesome author
This book is written by a very awesome author, his name is Fr Benedict Groeschel, for more info you can check at the wikipedia
The title tells about the book contents, using stumbling blocks as stepping stones with a unique approach ( spiritual approach to physiological problem )
The book has 8 chapters, and let me give you my understanding of Chapter 1 : Sin, Temptation and Integrity.
Although we know sin breaks our relationship with God, but he wrote that sin can be used as a stepping stone to a closer relationship with God. After he gave a very insightful reflection about sin, he wrote that sin presents an opportunity for gratitude and love when we realize that we have been saved. We also know after sinning we can repent, and repentance will lead us to greater love and openness to God.
I find this book is very helpful for me especially when I look down on myself, when I am at my low point. He reminds me that God can work in my life no matter how bad and sinful I am.
I really recommend this book especially when you feel bad about your self, of your weakness, sin, unbelief, sorrow, fear, etc. Know that all those things can be used by God to bring you closer to Him, to be more open to His love.
