4 Week Theology of the Body during Lent

Dear Emmausians,

Robin and I are planning to watch a 4-week program of Theology of the Body during this Lent by Christopher West. It speaks about understanding our catholic faith through our bodies and sexuality. It helps me a lot to understand my sexuality and my vocation. It starts by explaining how we can know God's plan for us through our bodies, and how our sexuality relates to the sacraments especially the sacrament of the Eucharist and the Marriage. Then it speaks about vocation as well. It teaches why contraception is not right and how we should live out a life that God has planned for us.

Time: Wednesdays, 24th February to 17th March, 8.00pm-9.30pm

Venue: Robin's place, Block 395 Bukit Batok West Ave 5 #10-434

Agenda:

  1. Evening prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours (15 min)
  2. Watch Theology of the Body (1 hour)
  3. Closing prayer
