Dear siblings in Christ,

Our community has grown quite awhile now. I guess it's time to review the current format / activity of our group. No commitment to change anything for the time being, I am just being curious to use this website for some of our thought sharing...

Following is just a wild thought in my head... (please note that this is not a message from God, just a thought and this might be influnced by our "enemy" too)

I am wondering whether cell group format (around 7 in one cell) will help us to grow more as a community. Maybe we can have one week for cell group meeting and the alternate week for prayer meeting.

Benefit will be:

  1. more bonding (more personal) between cell group member, more attention and sharing to each individuals.
  2. can be held nearer to the member home. It can be another day too. those that are working on Saturday can join in.
  3. more preparation time for teaching and worship team.

Some disadvantages:

  1. cluster in community. (possible solution: each cell group leader need to encourage more interaction)
  2. less time for praise and worship in a month (2 times instead of 4 times)
  3. more planning by teaching team to prepare material (might need to recruit cellgroup leader that can dedicate more time)

What do you think????
