Hi, yeah as suggested by Abi, I will introduce myself here. My name is oka, I am short, curly, and a little bit round :)

How did I join the Emmaus? Well, it started from a friend of mine inviting me to start a community for those who graduated from school and yet have no community at all. I love the idea, and I myself realized I needed to be in a community. So we started from a small group, praying every weekend. We started our discernment, and suddenly we are here in St. Mary. But that was not all the story, we first joined the Adult charismatic prayer group on Friday while having a cell group every saturday. And finally Fr. Joe wanted us to have a separate prayer group for young adults. And we started to choose a name :) Somehow we end with the name Emmaus :) (I have a story of how we come to that name hehe, some other time perhaps)

Well alright, ehm what is my impression for this community? I am very blessed. It is trully a gift for me. It is so refreshing and encouraging to see you all, your joy, your cheerfulness, your prayer. Sometimes when I went home from prayer meeting, I just keep thanking God for this community. And I know should thank you all as well :)
