1. I met Oka and Christine for the first time was during the Youth Ministry Strategic Planning (2008/2009). Someone, who I couldn’t recall the name introduced me and said “They are Indonesian too”, then I passes my casual remarks “oooo”.. (end)
2. 2nd time, I met Sony, Oka, and Valent (still wondering whether I remember correctly that you were there, Lent.. =P) inside bus while on my way to SMOTA Saturday’s afternoon asked me “Where you going?” I answered him “Leading Family Rosary session”. I asked him back and he said they were having meeting (I didn’t have intention to ask him any further tho’ during that time) (end)
3. 3rd time, Keenan invited me for the first time to Leaders Network, as I stepped in into Parlour 1, I saw some of the unknown and known faces..haha.. I saw Sony there, and he said ‘hi’ to me, once again I met Valent too there. Due my unique ‘characteristic’ that I hardly remember people name, once again they introduced themselves. One innocent question when I heard the name “ Valent”, “were you born on Valentine’s day ?”...gyahahahahha....then he said quickly “Noo”... =P. Three of us during that time having quite long chat, still remember the game of getting-to-know by Keenan that actually the one that made us have such a long conversation compare with any other days. Only then I realized they are from Emmaus Charismatic Prayer Group. But it still didn’t much affect me, and I treated it as pass-by conversation. (end)
4. 4th time, during youth exhibition, Emmaus booth ‘coincidently’ besides OLToD booth..hehe...still remember how they were exposed to the sun while we were sheltered.. =P. I met Astrid then, she, with her friendliness and warmness introduced herself, and we chatted quite a while. She even brought me to the canteen where the Indonesian community were having their birthday celebration during that time...wakakak..(.fooddddd!!!)...due to realization that I haven’t taken my lunch. Thankss so much, girl !! (end)
5. Random-bump-to-each other: I met Elizabeth on my way back to home, we were in the same bus, hum..but, I couldn’t recall from-where and to-where.. She, once again, was saying about Emmaus and asked me if I have any free Saturday could drop by there. I said ‘ok’ (honestly, for the sake of saying it only... *blushing*) (end)
6. Next, I came to LOGOS (forgot on how I can landed there, maybe bcoz of youth exhibition and I met Basil), and this was where I got to know Vincent. He sat next to me and he was soooo friendly too.. (remember abt the orange socks, Vince?).. =P. And I noticed too, the whole Logos bunch actually Emmausians. (end)
I put all of this events, as I really couldn’t remember how finally I decided to come for Emmaus. I only can recall that I had come once/twice to Emmaus then withdrew from there. Then, YISS reached out, I saw their promoting in front of the church, as usual I treated it the same as any-other-booth stood in Piazza that I seldom interested with (dohhh...how ignorant I was.. =P). (end)
7. FINALLY, one person named Valent (yes, he is the one!!)..(wahaha)..out of the blue asked me to join YISS from online chatting and I remembered he (might be) was having quite hard time to convince me to go...almost 2 weeks it took me before I gave up and say “ok, I will give it a try”. This is where it started that I came regularly to Emmaus (at least more regular compare with bfore). (cont. below)
I still come and go, even after YISS session (the session that I must admit made me closer to Him and comforted me so much). But, Emmaus do teach me quite some of new things. For all this things that I have learned to become a better one, I really thankful Father for that. One more community that I hope will ( & I know it will...) become another strong foundation for me to understand that the community of God will always present wherever I go.
Hahah..the one that asked me actually Oka.. =P
=D.. Of cozz... In the ACT Seminarr ( did we sleep in the same floor ??... =P)... around beginning of 2009 ? (f not mistaken).. then the 2nd time was in the Emmaus..was pretty surprised by that time.. ahhhaa...

Haha, I can't recall about point 2 you mentioned...
