Hi guys, I need opinions from u. I have observed that most pious and true christians have the most tendency to reach out to his neighbors and willing to share their resources and time as a way of spreading God's love. This observation I have, enabled me to conclude that they are showing the personality of an extrovert people. Can we logically conclude that all true and pious christians must be an extrovert? And once we see an introvert one, can we say that he/she must be converted to an extrovert person for him/her to be a true/pious christian? Thanks for your opinion guys! I miss u all!

Thanks Bong for sharing, we

Thanks Bong for sharing, we miss you too. Don't worry too much I would say :) I believe extrovert and introvert are just a way out of many to understand people better. But they should not be used  to judge people and create a stamp for the rest of their lives. People change overtime. Once an introvert can become more extrovert. Once extrovert, I believe, can change to be more introvert. Your tendency as an introvert might be seen by others as already extrovert. It's very difficult to judge. Life, environtment, friends, really shape us.

so for me, I would not worry wether I should convert myself to be more extrovert or not. I believe that God do all things for the good of those who love Him. He created us, and He understand us. He will shape our lives and our characters as long as we allow him to. There are many saints who are introvert, in fact they don't want others to see their good deeds. And yet when others need them, they are drawn to help and reach out. It is out of love of God.

In a way, we are called to help and love others either we are introvert or extrovert. We can't live alone. It is in loving others that we will love God. A person can be an introvert in the family, and yet, he or she is called to love the other family members anyway.

And so for me, what matters is to stay awake, and to be at watch. I want to be ready to welcome Christ in my life. He may come through a stranger, or simply through my family members. I will try my best to love Him, even as an introvert. In fact, it is His love that I return. I think it is a good reminder for us during this Advent to be at watch and stay awake as well to welcome Christ. Christ will come, and we are ready to welcome Him. Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus!

Hi...Do we know each other

Hi...Do we know each other ady ?? (I couldnt re-call)..hmm..need to re-introduce myself I guess.eheehhe..its me monicaa. =D.

My opinion : Person's characteristics I would agree with Oka that they will be formed by many aspects, but most importanly they will be shaped by The Father for the greater glory of HIS. Could we imagine if everyone become the preachers ? who will become the listeners ? If everyone busy with active-lifestyle, who going to be the one who spend time to sit down and write about HIS glory ?.. Every part in our life I beileve is a form of prayer. So no matter how we use it and regardless of being extrovert or introvert we can bring it & HE always gonna be using it for greater good (if we allow & open ourselves of course).

Me, too, some times there's a time for me to show my extrovertness (showing that noisy, talkative personality...heheh), and the other time show myself as being introvert (when I need to listen, stay quiet, withdraw myself from the crowd to enjoy my time with HIM alone). Each one of it complete me as HIS creator and to become HIS witness..

Love in Christ,
Monique

Telling a good movie

I think there is no need to be extrovert type of person to be really living our faith. It's similar to a situation after watching a very good movie, you'll start to talk about the movie to your friends, to let them know it's a good movie and worth to watch it. I guess it doesn't matter whether you're introvert or extrovert to tell your friends it's a good movie.

And I feel it's the same with spreading God's love. Simply because we've felt His love that we want to spread it in any way we can do to our friends and family members. That it's worth to be loved by God and to love Him back.
